My name is Kadeem Hylton. I am a writer. I used to precede that title with "budding," "up and coming," even "maturing," then I realized there was no use for my good intentioned self-deprecation. Honestly, you're either a writer or you're not. To be one requires only for you to write, and do so as often as possible. That is what I do. I have high aspirations. Goals that I WILL achieve. How do I know? It is my destiny to succeed. It is my strong conviction that we can share the experience of King Midas. The right perspective, a positive attitude, some intelligence and hard work will turn anything you touch into gold. Don't believe me? Just watch.
This blog is will chart my progress as a writer as best as it can. Not all of my endeavors can find its way here but I am sure that if you follow along, it will be apparent. ABOVE ALL, I want this blog to benefit every reader. I believe in many things, and fortunately, one of those things happens to be "paying it forward." This means that my babbling is certainly not solely for my benefit. I will try to include advice, encouragement, tips and helpful resources for any writer looking to improve and make their successes more pronounced.
